Once you successfully make it through the Church and find the map, you have to figure out how to get to the lake in Resident Evil 4. The lake hints at the fact that you can find the girl at the lake, but it also states that there is a monster there who will finish off the intruder, who we’re assuming is Leon. However, in this portion of the Chapter, you won’t be having to take on any terrifying monsters or overly strong enemies. You just have to do some digging around to gather more intel. Keep reading to learn how to get to the lake in Resident Evil 4.
How to Get to the Lake in Resident Evil 4
As you make your way over the bridge, there will be a few bridges you have to cross over, and each is well-stocked with enemies to try to take you down. However, they are only Ganado, so you should be able to make your way through them easily.
As you make your way through this area and into the next, you will be coming into a Quarry. Here, there will be a couple of traps and some Colmillos. Taking them down is fairly simple if you are using a shotgun.
Once they are taken down, exit through the gate on the opposite side of the Quarry.
This area will lead you into the Merchant’s Headquarters.
Once inside, you can view the notice on the wall, in addition to inspecting his wall of weapons, and even access a shooting range if you choose to.
Before you leave the Marchant’s HQ, make sure to check out the chest, as it carried Hexagon Piece A.
Now, head up the stairs when you are ready to take off.
You will find yourself on a cliff overlooking the Lake. From here, there is a spot in front of you that prompts you to pull out your binoculars and get a closer look. You will see a couple of Ganado on a motor boat who are dumping your police escort’s body into the lake.
However, moments later, a giant Sea Beast comes up out of the water and eats the body.
While you are still looking around, be sure to take a look at the small shed.
There is also a point you can zoom in on within the castle before you exit the viewing screen.
Now, head down to where the boat is docked below, making a stop along the wall to look at the notice posted above a crate.
Make your way down to the boat and inspect the motor, which you will find to be empty, just before complaining about the Ganado not filling up the tank when they’re finished with it.
Before you move on to the next location, visit the pedestal that already contains a few Hexagon Pieces and put your Hexagon Piece A in it.
