It seems that the latest update of Resident Evil 4 Remake brought more things than just the Mercenaries mode. As you know, there are some upgrade tickets you can get by trading Spinels in the game. Doing so will unlock some exclusive upgrades that vary depending on the weapon. Players doing a normal playthrough can take a while to get the required Spinels to unlock the said upgrade. While you can save all of them and buy the tickets, you might’ve spent some to get the laser or stocks for some guns. With the new update, players will have the chance to get some pay-to-win tickets for Resident Evil 4 Remake in the store.
Resident Evil 4 Remake releases pay-to-win tickets in the store
We know that the pay-to-win phrase is a bit harsh, but in this case, it sort of applies. As you know, there are some trophies in the game that require you to reach an S+ rank. To do this, you need to do an almost perfect and fast run. While you can achieve it without spending money, Capcom has just released exclusive upgrade tickets in the store. Some users spotted this on the New Zealand store, so we’ll have to wait and see if it arrives in the US as well.

Resident Evil 4 Speedrunners Are Making The Game Look Easy
We don’t know how the community will react after seeing these tickets which are a sort of pay-to-win option for Resident Evil 4 Remake. In the end, people can do whatever they want with their money, but some players might criticize those who decide to invest money to make the game easier. We really didn’t think this would happen and we are sort of hoping it is a late April Fools’ joke, but we guess we’ll have to wait and check tomorrow. If you’ve finished the game already, remember that the Mercenaries mode is launching for free this Friday. So, get ready for more action-packed content in this fantastic remake.
