Resident Evil 4 Remake has made waves in the gaming industry, and fans are wondering if they should get their hands on an RE4 Remake Collector’s Edition. So, where can you get one? What’s inside the sought-after Resident Evil 4 Remake Collector’s Edition? Keep reading to find out more.
Resident Evil 4 Remake Collector’s Edition: Everything You Need To Know
The RE4 Remake Collectors Edition launched on March 24 for pre-orders and made its way to online stores. But as we all know, scalpers got the better of everyone, and the only way to purchase it in the U.S. is via StockX or eBay. Upon launch, the Resident Evil 4 Remake Collector’s Edition was available for $250 Dollars, but if you can’t seem to get your hands on it, you can pay a premium in the range of $300-500 on eBay.
But with that put aside, let’s take a look at the contents of the Resident Evil 4 Remake Collector’s Edition. The contents of the Resident Evil 4 Collector’s Edition include:
- A copy of Resident Evil 4 Remake
- Resident Evil 4 Remake Steel book
- Artbook
- Map of Valdelobos
- Leon S. Kennedy Statue w/ Pump Action Shotgun
Slipping off the cover, we get a detailed metal pelican case that’s actually made up of your go-to basic packaging material.
Flipping up the case, we’re graced with a copy of Resident Evil 4 Remake that sits comfortably in the center of the box. Unwrapping the sealed RE4 copy, we’re greeted with a matte steel case depicting Ashely in the night sky of Valdelobos on the back. Leon’s silhouette takes the spotlight on the front of the steel book.
Next up is a detailed map of Valdelobos showcasing all the explorable regions in Resident Evil 4 Remake. Underneath the steel book, we’re given a copy of Resident Evil 4 Remake’s artbook portraying early concept art, weapons such as the SSG-09, The Pump-Action 12-Gauge Shotgun, and much more.
Digging deeper, we’re welcomed to a Resident Evil 4 Leon S. Kennedy’s figure. With it comes the 12 Guage Pump Action Shotgun and a platform for Leon to stand on. But the figure isn’t all that special and could have used a bit more work. It’s lacking that life-like feeling and attention to detail that we’ve come to know CAPCOM for in the past few years.
That’s pretty much everything inside the RE4 Remake’s Collector’s Edition. If you’re still itching for the collector’s edition but couldn’t get your hands on one, you can go the route of paying a premium resale price, but it’s pretty much worth it if you’re a fan of the iconic CAPCOM franchise.
So, will you still try your luck and find an RE4 Collector’s Edition in-store, or will you pay a premium and pay for resale? Let us know in the comments below, and stay tuned for more updates on The NerdStash.
