As we at The Nerd Stash have previously reported, the cult classic cyberpunk musical rail shooter, Rez is making a full comeback as the resurrected and fully HD, Rez Infinite. Rez Infinite was originally announced via a live demonstration at PlayStation Experience 2015. We were told that it would be coming to both PS4 and PS VR, but were not given a release date. Many fans, such as myself, have been bidding their time in eager anticipation of Rez Infinite and so I am very pleased to say that the wait is over.
Now that the E3 dust has settled, we’re excited to confirm Rez Infinite will be launching on Oct. 13, 2016 for PS4 and PSVR. See you then!

The announcement comes via the Twitter page of Enhance Games, the studio responsible for Rez Infinite. As you can see above, the game will be available for both PS4 and PS VR at the same time, on October 13th. It is interesting to note that the studio waited to make this announcement until after E3, and that it was not shown at the Sony Press Conference. Either way, this is great news that is sure to make long-time fans and newcomers alike jump with joy. Now the only question that remains is when they will make the fully body haptic suit that was shown with the game’s initial debut available for public consumption and what the price of that crazy thing will be.
Is this your first time hearing about Rez and Rez Infinite? Are you upset because this is a PlayStation family exclusive? Or did you think this game was always an overrated piece of trippy garbage? Let your rage be known in the comments section, below.
