Things are about to get real for the RHOA star, Kim Zolciak, and her former NFL player husband, Kroy Biermann, over IRS unpaid tax to the tune of $1 Million. Together, the duo has created their magical happy ending. In 2001, Zolciak and her husband exchanged vows. Soon, they became parents to six kids. Brielle and Ariana, Zolciak’s kids from a previous relationship, adopted her husband’s name. The RHOA star then welcomed sons Kroy Jagger Jr., Kash Kade and twins Kaia Rose and Kane Ren. All eight kids have fond memories of their mansion in GA as they grew up in the home. But now it seems like their days might be numbered.
RHOA’s Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann Are Neck Deep in Tax Evasion Trouble
TMZ reported that RHOA’s Kim Zolciak and her leading man owe $1.1M to the IRS. This unpaid fee covers taxes, interest, and penalties from previous years. Records in the legal documents point to 2018, 2017, and 2013. In addition to the million, the pair have racked up debt in the state of Georgia to the tune of $15k.
The Couple Never Admitted to a Foreclosure in February
Long before the recent development, there was trouble in paradise. However, the celebrity couple always found ways to nip it in the bud. Rumors that Kim Zolciak owed IRS tax swirled earlier in the year, but the RHOA did not comment on it. It was heard that Trust Bank enlisted an attorney to help with the foreclosure. The company intended to take over its sprawling pad in Alpharetta, GA.
Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann’s daughters, Ariana and Brielle, came to their parents’ rescue. The ladies slammed the report that their home had been foreclosing. A source later hinted that the couple has resolved things. The girls went on to admit that they will continue to make memories in the country mansion.
Even with that, the Zolciak-Biermann clan has refused to allow the gossip to steal their shine. They carried on with impressing their fans by posting the home. In March, the 44-year-old just weeks after a foreclosure story on the RHOA star’s home, she took fans on a tour. Her over 3 million followers got an honest view of the GA mansion.
Indeed, the tour proved the couple’s love for art and passion for creating memories. Framed jerseys and memorabilia were positioned outside a game room. It showed Biermann’s professional career as an NFL star. Fans also took a trip inside the family’s closet. There were rooms filled with clothes and shoes ready for sale on Zolciak’s website. The entrepreneur explained that her kids had outgrown most of the outfits.
