Her son, Kairo Whitfield, and his girlfriend, Alina Baber, welcomed their daughter, Mecca Joie Whitfield, last year in July. The Television personality now has the grandmother’s title and is rocking it in style. Recently, she shared snaps of her granddaughter while gushing over her.
Sheree Whitfield Gushed Over Her Granddaughter
The 53-year-old shared a family picture that included her beloved granddaughter. In this week’s issue of People, she revealed that Mecca is adorable and the cutest little girl she has met. Sheree added that her granddaughter is blessed with curly hair, the best smile, and she is always cheerful.
Whenever the reality star sets her eyes upon Mecca, there is this uncommon joy that fills her heart. “It feels so special to have her in our family, and it feels more special as I watch her grow,” the mother of three said. The Bravolebrity shared that they are building a solid bond between them.
She also loves to play with Mecca, read to her, and take her to the park. Sheree Whitfield said that the birth of Mecca Joie had bonded her family the most. “I’ve always been close to my family, but having Mecca brought another level of closeness to the family.” She said while adding that she wouldn’t have it any other way.
Sheree Said It Feels Unique To Be A Grandma
The fitness enthusiast said that the feeling she has right now is different. It is even different from how she felt when she had her kids. Sheree is happy to be a grandmother, and her love for her grandchild is unique.
Not only that, but she is also happy to watch her son, Kairo, become a father. She said, “He’s a hands-on father, and it is incredible to see him put in so much effort.” Whenever Sheree sees her son doing everything he does, it makes her tear up.
The designer refused to be identified as a grandma; instead, she has released a better title for herself. Sheree prefers to be called a Glam-ma. She joked about it, saying, “I’m a Glam-ma, and she will call me GG, which means gorgeous Glam-ma.” The reality star said she is bringing in a new trend for grandmas, which is the hot grandmas.
