Heather Dubrow’s Infertility struggles came to the fore this week when the media personality shared a candid post online. RHOC’s Heather Dubrow Shares Struggles With Infertility
RHOC’s Heather Dubrow poured out her heart on Instagram on Monday, January 16, about her frozen embryos.
“It’s that time of the year again when I pay for my 2 frozen embryos. I cry, sit in it for a bit, take a deep breath, pay the bill and wait until next year.”
The Real Housewives of Orange County star asked if any of her followers felt the same way she did. She also asked them what they do with their embryos.
Heather’s post was accompanied by a picture of her receipt for the payment of her two embryos at her reproductive center. Freezing them cost her $800, and the RHOC star jokingly lamented that her eggs’ “rent has gone up.” The reality TV star originally froze them in 2021 for $700.
Heather Dubrow’s Infertility struggles started after she tied the knot with Terry Dubrow in 1999. After trying for two years, the couple had their first two children through IVF. The duo welcomed their twins, son Nicholas and daughter Max, in November 2003.
Their second daughter, Kat, was also born through IVF three years later, in October 2006. However, their youngest daughter Coco was conceived naturally and born in December 2010.
Heather And Terry Dubrow Support Their Kids’ Decisions
RHOC’s Heather Dubrow and her husband, Terry, are vocal about cheering on their little ones. The pair constantly show off their children’s accomplishments via social media and on their respective shows.
Notably, in June 2020, Max publicly came out as bisexual and had her parents’ full support. The Dubrow family also rallied their support around Kat when she came out as a lesbian the following year.
Heather explained on Instagram in February 2022 that she believes in creating an environment where children feel loved and accepted regardless of their preferences.
The Heather Dubrow’s World podcast host also revealed the following month that she and Terry trust their children. She further said that the approach has proved foolproof over the years, and they will continue to do so.
Hopefully, Heather Dubrow’s candid post about her infertility struggles will encourage women going through the same thing. Perhaps, they can all share their stories in their own time and find the strength to carry on.
