The Real Housewives of New York City’s Bethenny Frankel is done caring about what everyone else thought of her as she focuses on her health. The RHONY alum took to social media to reveal her journey to finding answers to her recurring medical challenges and getting her life back on track following her previous diagnosis with long COVID, PTOS syndrome, which is an autoimmune disorder.
RHONY Bethenny Frankel Becomes Part of a Medical Research Amid Health Journey
Via a video shared on Instagram, Bethenny revealed the steps she was taking to figure out those issues. She began by explaining she was in New Orleans for 3 days to meet a doctor from Tulane University, who reached out to her to help find the root of her health issues as part of medical research. The podcast host proceeded to list a range of illnesses she’s been diagnosed with so far, including POTS, low blood pressure, trouble standing up without having a dizzy spell, severe dehydration after short periods without drinking water, and her fish allergy. She explained:
“The blood pressure is a big problem here, and that’s why the dizziness and dehydration leads to it — it’s a whole thing.”
Bethenny also went candid about experiencing severe pain in her back and neck. According to her, most people may consider the painful sensation as normal. However, she believed the body was a machine, and the pain was its way of signaling “that it’s broken down.” Hence, her decision to listen to it by embarking on the research trip.” While she hoped for a breakthrough, the 52-year-old admitted her trip was more about “figuring out her own story.”
Bethenny Embraces A New Dawn In Her Journey
Armed with her new resolve, Bethenny admitted via caption that she no longer cared what people thought of her looks. Contrariwise, what mattered was how she felt and how she could stay healthy for her daughter, loved ones, and fans. She added:
“My journey begins now with X-rays and MRIs and research and diet changes. I am being thorough and serious about this not only for me but for you.”
Going further, the star acknowledged that she understood many couldn’t afford the resources to find answers. The RHONY alum Bethenny Frankel hoped her medical journey would help her find solutions for others facing similar health issues.
