RHOP‘s Mia Thornton took to her Insta Story to debunk allegations of falsifying her age at the start of the show.
After the claims leveled against her on The Real Housewives of Potomac, the Housewife shared receipts on Instagram.
Someone alleged that Mia Thornton’s real age isn’t 38, so the reality star shared a picture of her driver’s license.
“Sure judge me on a [two-second] edit. Shows your character,” Mia began as she shared a screenshot of someone asking her, “Didn’t you start off on the show by lying about your age?”
“No, I never ‘LIED’ about my age. Next question?” Mia replied, along with her Maryland Driver’s License, which confirmed she is 38.
Another person wanted to know how many plastic surgeries Mia had while urging her to be honest.
“Lips 💋, Botox 💉, [Four] Boobs, even had my [nose] worked on,” Mia explained.
Mia Thornton Defends Showing Proof of Business Ownership
Since allegations against Mia’s business ownership claim also came up, the TV personality addressed those too. She included confirmation that she owns Massage Envy Spas and The Joint Chiropractic on Instagram.
Mia confirmed ownership of Massage Envy Spas with a screenshot noting the business as a limited liability company that was established in September 2017.
A screenshot showed her husband, Gordon Thornton as the chief executive officer (CEO). Meanwhile, it listed RHOP‘s Mia Thornton as the chief operating officer (COO), agent, and administrative member.
Following Mia’s decision to share the truth, a fan wondered why she bothered and asked her to stop “people pleasing.”
The RHOP star defended her decision to speak out, saying that her investors care about the rumors. “I don’t. Unfortunately, my investors do. So scroll and take notes,” she replied.
Mia further explained in a couple of additional notes. “My partnerships will always take precedence. [Being] that girl, won’t let anyone or anything take that from me. Period.”
She also wrote that she got this far because of her “reputation + integrity” while asserting that she wouldn’t allow “fortune or fame to tarnish her name.”
