The numbers broke the previous record of Katy Perry, whose Super Bowl XLIX halftime show in 2015 had 121 million viewers. However, the figure saw a significant leap to 121.07 million viewers, nudging her ahead of the Dark Horse singer.
Interestingly, Rihanna’s Super Bowl halftime performance wasn’t only the most-watched show of all time. The show also attracted more viewers than the game, which had 115.1 million viewers. But just like Rihanna’s performance, the 2023 Super Bowl game also broke 2015’s 114.442 million viewers record.
