Risk of Rain 2 garnered a lot of positive attention when it released into Early Access back in March of 2019. It had a lot of items you could use, with a ton of replayability and fun to be had on each round. It also really improved upon the original, going from 2D to 3D beautifully. Since then, it’s been receiving a ton of it will soon be ready to release. Announced today along with a roadmap from the Risk of Rain 2 team, the game will come out of Early Access this August. With it will be a lot of updates to the game.

Risk of Rain 2

The new update is going to seem pretty standard when compared with the previous four updates. The difference here is mainly going to be in that it’s the final boss and the final stage of Risk of Rain 2. It may not seem like much of a change, but having a finite ending to the game is going to be quite massive. Players have been waiting anxiously for this update, and it’ll hopefully live up to the expectations. For those who aren’t aware of what’s in updates usually, there’ll be a new character, new stage, new boss, and several items, equipment, and more! It’ll help to hopefully make the game more complete, and we here at The Nerd Stash are incredibly excited.

We hope to see you all out there playing Risk of Rain 2 when it leaves early access in August. If you haven’t played Risk of Rain 2 though, then you’re truly missing out. This is a game that roguelike fans won’t want to miss, with an immense amount of replayability and depth. You go through different stages, collecting items and leveling up. Over time, you go from relatively weak from increasingly strong and later overpowered almost. If this all sounds fun to you, you can check it out on PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
