This summer the Road to Blizzcon has seen a multitude of Heroes of the Storm teams go head to head on the fields of battle for the chance to participate in the Americas Championship in September and ultimately the World Championship on the hallowed stage of Blizzcon 2015 in Anaheim, California.
There are 8 teams battling for dominance in the August Open taking place the weekend of 8/22 and 8/23. These teams have proved their mettle over the last two months but as the Americas Championship draws closer there is truly no rest for the weary. The teams and their players are:

The tournament’s format is Round of 8 and beyond: Bo3 Double Elimination. The available battlegrounds are, Battlefield of Eternity, Blackheart’s Bay, Cursed Hollow, Dragon Shire, Garden of Terror, Haunted Mines, Sky Temple, and Tomb of the Spider Queen. Although this tournament is taking place post August’s patch, the newest hero Kharazim will NOT be allowed.
