Robert Pattinson, 37, and fiancée Suki Waterhouse, 32, quietly welcomed their first child this month to officially become a family of three. Several outlets, including People and Entertainment Weekly, reported that the Batman star and his partner of six years subtly confirmed the arrival of their first child this week. The news came after they were spotted with a baby carriage on a walk in Los Angeles.
Suki Announced Her Pregnancy in November
The pictures were released by the Daily Mail, which showed the couple on a leisurely walk with Suki’s mother Elizabeth. The pair began dating in 2018 and Suki announced her pregnancy at the Corona Capital Festival in Mexico City in November, where she showed off her baby bump on stage.
Neither Pattinson nor Waterhouse have confirmed the baby’s name, gender, or birthdate. They were first romantically linked in 2018 and sources told People they got engaged in December of last year.
Waterhouse began a career in modeling at the age of 16, serving fashion labels like Burberry, Tommy Hilfiger, Hugo Boss, Laura Mercier and Ferragamo. From her success as a model came a promising career as an actress. She would go on to appear in Love, Rosie, The Divergent Series: Insurgent, The Bad Batch, Assassination Nation, and Detective Pikachu.
The Pair Briefly Dated Some Famous Faces
Before settling down with Pattinson, Waterhouse briefly dated musician Miles Kane from 2011 until 2013, actor Bradley Cooper from 2013 until 2015, and actor Diego Luna from 2016 until 2017.
As for Pattinson, he was romantically linked with his Twilight co-star Kristen Stewart from 2009 to 2012, when Stewart was photographed with director Rupert Sanders, therefore revealing an affair. The couple reportedly reconciled and officially split in 2013. Pattinson went on to date singer-songwriter FKA Twigs from 2014 to 2017.
Pattinson recently starred as Bruce Wayne/Batman in Matt Reeves’ The Batman, voiced The Grey Heron in the English dub of The Boy and the Heron Japanese animation, and will portray the main character Mickey Barnes in the sci-fi film Mickey 17, based on Edward Ashton’s novel Mickey7.
