If you’re new to A One Piece Game, you’ll quickly realize there’s a bit of a learning curve. This is mainly due to AOPG’s mechanics being notably different from other One Piece clones on Roblox, such as lack of player levels and progression. With that said, AOPG still implements familiar systems, like races, stats, swords, guns, haki, and yes, even Devil Fruit. For all you beginners our there, I’ll guide you through the fundamentals of Roblox A One Piece Game.
Questing and Islands
What’s a Roblox One Piece game without some traveling and questing? Reaching the next island is one of the main goals of the game, as is questing; in fact, questing can be a fantastic way to earn bonus experience towards your stats and beli for accessories and items.
Every island has a set of quests you can complete and are usually repeatable. I highly recommend grabbing every quest you can because the quests almost always revolve around defeating specific enemies that appear on that island. That way you’ll earn experience from combat, then gain even more when you hand the quest in.
Since A One Piece Game doesn’t have levels, the only thing stopping you from reaching the next island is your own stats and skill. If the island you’re currently on is starting to get incredibly easy, it may be time to board your dingy and sail to the next island.
But before you do that, I suggest getting the Island Tracker. It’s available on the first island, on the other side of town. The Traveling Merchant will sell one to you for 50,000 beli, which won’t take you long to make if you’re questing. Using it will point you to every island.
How Combat Works
While questing and traveling is important, nothing is more essential than combat. It’s the main way for your character to get stronger so you can take on even harder opponents and even other players.
Combat in AOPG is simple: equip the weapon, fighting style, or Devil Fruit you want and start using it. Even your fists are a viable way to fight, though the fighting styles are far more effective, like Black Leg and Suzaku.
Now, whenever you use a combat skill, regular attacks, dashing, and jumping, you’ll use stamina. You can’t use your skills or even attack if you have no stamina, so early on you need to be mindful of how much stamina you’re using and improve it when you can.
Speaking of skills, every weapon—including your fists and Devil Fruit—has a set of unique skills. You’ll unlock them as you raise your stats or, in some cases, meet certain prerequisites.
Understanding Your Player Stats
A One Piece Game features stats and races, much in the same way A Piece and Demon Piece. However, the one notable difference in AOPG is the Haki stat. It’s important to know what each stat knows:
- Strength: Increases damage to fighting and support styles.
- Stamina: Determines how many skills they can use in succession; the higher your stamina, the more skills you can use before you have to wait for it to refill.
- Defense: Determines the amount of health you have.
- Sword: Increases damage dealt with swords (and melee weapons in general).
- Gun: Increases damage dealt with guns.
- Haki: Improves the effectiveness of your haki.
- Fruit: Increases damage dealt with Devil Fruits.
Unlike other One Piece Roblox clones, AOPG doesn’t have player levels. Instead, your stats are improved by using weapons and abilities associated with that stat and can be increased to 750 for each. For example, if you want to increase your sword stat, you have to equip a sword and just start swinging.
What Are Races?
In addition to stats, you are given a random race the moment you join AOPG, which can grant unique abilities and bonuses, like increased damage or the option to fly. Look in the bottom-left corner to see what you got, then check here what bonuses you get:
- Human:+20% Black Leg damage
- Bunny: Run faster, dash further, and increased Electro damage
- Seraphim: Jump higher, run faster, and +10% damage with guns
- Atlanteans: Swim faster, increased Fishman Karate damage, and take next to no damage while in the ocean (if you have a Devil Fruit)
- Cyborgs: +20% damage reduction (increased to 50% when transformed), overall damage is increased, and you can learn the Cyborg fighting style
- Augmented Humans: Allows you to wear the Exoskeleton (for a stat boost) and learn the Ifrit Jambe fighting style
- Lunatrix: +20% damage reduction, +30% overall damage, and lets you fly
- Saiyans: Lets you learn the Goku support style, go Super Saiyan, and gain bonuses to damage, stamina, health, and damage reduction
- Jinchuriki: Increased overall damage, health, and stamina, and lets you learn the Naruto support style and transform
- Hybrid: Increased health and health regeneration, as well as letting you learn the Chainsaw Man fighting style
- Sorcerer: Boosts overall damage and health regeneration and unlocks the ability to learn Gojo style
- Heavenly Restriction: Boosts overall damage and health
- Buccaneer: Boosts overall damage and doubles your health pool

Don’t Forget About Free Rewards
Maybe it’s not that serious, but you should make a good habit of collecting any and all free rewards A One Piece Game hands out. It could mean the difference between receiving normal experience and beli and earning significantly more if you’re lucky.
You get a single free spin every single day. If you open the menu at the top and choose the “Spinning” tab, you can spin for a random reward. It could be experience, beli, Devil Fruit, and so on. One of the better rewards are the experience and beli boosts, which increase the amount you get from each source and can really help you out early on.
The other type of rewards are the AOPG codes; however, codes are one-time-use and eventually expire. But hey, they’re free.
