As you push further and further into the harder levels of Roblox Anime Defenders, it becomes more apparent that you need to summon the beat team for the job. You’ve got story mode, normal and hard mode, the infinite challenge, and even raids. Considering units tend to get stronger the more rare they are, your lineup is going to drastically change over time. Your early game team in Anime Defenders is going to look very different from your end game team!
Anime Defenders: Best Early Game Team to Summon
For Anime Defenders’ early game, we’re sticking to a team of four since you won’t have slots five or six unlocked just et. By the time you’re level 20 and open your fifth unit slot, you should be entering mid-game, anyway.
- Clay: You don’t use Clay for damage—you use him for crowd control. His slow shouldn’t be underestimated; it’s so good, you’ll likely be using him in mid game, too. That’s assuming you never get your hands on Admiral of Ice before then.
- Inferno Commander: You should always have a good burn unit and since Inferno Commander is only an epic unit, he isn’t hard to get. However, Salamander is a fine stand-in until you get lucky.
- The Beast: Full AOE units are hard to come by in the early game, but the beauty of The Beast is that he’s just an epic unit. When you do inevitably get him, he’ll be dishing out consistent damage to most of the map.
- Bloomer: With The Beast and Inferno Commander on your team, you need a constant stream of gold for their upgrades. Bloomer is your go-to gal since she’ll just stand around generating gold. Getting her early on is crucial since she’ll be just as useful in mid-game.
Considering three out of the four units above are epic units, you’re going to need gems. Outside of using Anime Defenders codes, you can just cobble together a decent C-tier team to run through the first couple chapters of story mode until you have enough gems.
Personally, I ran with Pirate Hat, Clay, Salamander, and Clown Pirate. That team was good enough to grind the early chapters of story mode until I had enough to pick up better units.
Anime Defenders: Best Mid Game Team to Summon
By mid-game, you’ll have unlocked your fifth unit slot, so we’re sticking to a team of five this time:
- Bloomer: Easy gold generation, like before. Bloomer’s role hasn’t changed.
- Admiral of Ice: Admiral of Ice is simply a better Clay by all accounts. His Freeze ability slows units to a crawl, and it’s an AOE, so it’ll hit multiple targets, too.
- Cursed Fighter: Superb support unit. Cursed Fighter debuffs enemies, making them take 15% more damage from your attacks. He’s a must-have in the mid to late game!
- Skull Warrior: Excellent AOE, damage, and range. It’s as simple as that. Despite being a mythical unit, you shouldn’t have any trouble trading for him.
- Your Choice: Honestly, you’re pretty stacked as is, so your fifth slot is up to your discretion. Consider either going with burn damage, bleed, or full AOE, such as Admiral of Lava, Spirit Hybrid, or The Beast, respectively.
If you’re unlucky and can’t get Skull Warrior, any legendary unit with good damage, AOE, and range will do just fine.
Anime Defenders: Best Late Game Team to Summon
Now, when it comes to Anime Defenders’ late game, you have no choice but to stack your team with mythic units. There are some Secret units to look out for, but they’re extremely rare, and you’ll have better lucky building this team:
- Prime Carp: Very few units have full AOE, and even fewer offer top-tier damage, and Carp does both with ease.
- Curse King: Enemies that can regenerate health are incredibly frustrating. It just so happens the Curse King causes enemies to bleed, preventing enemies from healing. If you can get Curse King with a Critical trait, you’re golden!
- Warrior Queen: To best compliment Prime Carp, you’re going to need another full AOE unit like Warrior Queen. Although she’s more of an investment, it’s totally worth it. With a good stat roll and a couple levels, she’ll out damage even Prime Carp.
- Pink Rockstar: Once you have Pink Rockstar, you can say goodbyte to Bloomer and Cursed Fighter. She buffs your damage and farms gold better than both of those units combined. That also means you’ll have an extra unit slot for DPS!
- Flame Dragon God: And what better way to fill your extra slot with Flame Dragon God. We’re talking top 10 units with the highest DPS in the game. If you have Curse King, too, you’ve got yourself a god-tier duo, especially in Infinite.
- Donut Master: Following the trend of better and better crowd control, Donut Master will replace Admiral of Ice. With how fast enemy units are in late game, you need to slow them down.
In the event you summon the Cursed Knight, your team isn’t going to change all that much in Anime Defenders. You can safely swap any one of your DPS units to make room for him.
