It’s not quite enough to have the best fishing rods in Roblox Fisch, but you should know how to enchant them as well. Enchantments can give you a massive edge in the game, especially if you’re trying to fill out your Bestiary. Some enchantments improve the Resilience of your rod, others decrease the time it takes to catch fish, while a select few can grant a power bonus to your Luck stat in Roblox Fisch.
How to Enchant Your Fishing Rod in Roblox Fisch
Enchanting is more or a less an endgame thing in Roblox Fisch, so if you’re still new, sit this one out until you’ve done the following:
- Reached level 30
- Obtained an Enchant Relic
- Have unlocked access to the Shipwright
The reason you’re better off waiting until level 30 is at that point, you should have a really good fishing rod—at least the Steady Rod—and, more importantly, Merlin will start selling Enchant Relics, which you need to enchant, anyway. (More on that in the next section!)
Once you’ve got your bases covered, set sail for the Statue of Sovereignty, which is north of Moosewood Island. Climb the ladder and enter the mine underneath the statue until you get to an elevator. Speak with Cole and give him $400 to ride the elevator down.
Walk to the end of the cave, to the Keeper’s Altar. Now, it’s very important that you wait until night time. The Keeper’s Altar won’t activate until then. If you see blue tendrils of energy arcing between the stone pillars, then the altar is ready and you can perform the following steps:
- Equip the fishing rod you want to enchant. If you do not, you may end up enchanting the wrong rod.
- Hold an Enchant Relic in your hands and approach the altar.
- Interact with the altar and confirm you want to enchant your equipped fishing rod.
In doing so, the Keeper’s Altar will grant your fishing rod with a random enchantment!
Where to Get Enchant Relics in Roblox Fisch
Unless you have an Enchant Relic, you cannot enchant your fishing rod in Roblox Fisch. They aren’t as rare as you think, but they can get a little pricey. There are two sources for Enchant Relics: Merlin and, well, finding them in the ocean.
Getting Enchant Relics from Merlin is the “easiest” option, but it does come at the cost of $11,000 a piece and you need to be level 30 to actually buy them. You’ll find him on Sunstone Island, at the top of the mountain.
If you’re fishing for Enchant Relics, you’ll need Magnet bait, which you can get from bait crates. You can do that consistently using the Magnet Rod. That’s on Terrapin Island, sold by the Merchant for $15,000. Fish the waters surrounding Sunstone Island and you’ll catch Quality Bait Crates quite often!
