Unless you play a lot of San Andreas or The Sims, you probably don’t spend much time building muscle in your favorite virtual world. Roblox Gym League turns that situation on its head. Whether you’re deciding how much protein to eat or which weights to lift, everything’s about developing your body into the statuesque form it was destined to have. It won’t be easy, but with hard work, even the golden transformations of a certain Saiyan warrior are possible. Here’s how to get buff, get rich, and get the (somewhat sweaty) body of your Roblox dreams in Gym League.
Body Stats and Upgrading Body Alter
Characters in Gym League have multiple stats, but they’re not the ones you’re used to from RPGs. Instead, you’ll be tracking the progress of individual body parts such as your triceps and abs as well as your Stamina. The key to upgrading your Body Alter is to get all of your stats to 100% by working out. Upgrading to a new Body Alter like Shredded also unlocks the next world and gym for you to work out in.
It’s important not to focus too much on one body part when training. Although you might want the mightiest biceps in the land, you need to balance your training to advance. Cycle between the various machines and stations (treadmill for cardio, bench press for chest, etc.) to keep every muscle group’s development on pace. That’ll make getting 100% across the board much easier. Check out the icons above each machine to determine which muscles they affect before settling on a workout routine.
Get Money and Buy Food
Any bodybuilder will tell you that what you put in your stomach matters just as much as what you lift at the gym. Unfortunately, eating well (and in large amounts) takes plenty of cash. You can get money by completing quests and daily quests, as well as by cashing in codes, so take every opportunity you can to buff your bank account. Once you’ve got some money, here’s what you need to do:
- Go to the shop
- Navigate to Power-Ups
- Purchase the items you want
- Use those items to increase your stats and gain other benefits
At first, you’ll be limited to Chips, Chocolate Bars, and other unhealthy options, but with time you’ll unlock superior products such as Protein Shakes and Milk. Don’t be afraid to spend some money on junk food early on, however. Food buffs stack, so buy in bulk and get chewing! Although it’s not the best thing you can put in your body, it’ll still make getting those early gains easier, moving you one step closer to the bod’ of your dreams.
Treadmill Gains, Potions, and Other Tips
The Treadmill doesn’t provide direct muscle gains, but it’s arguably the most important piece of equipment in the gym. The Treadmill builds your stamina, allowing you to complete more reps before you exhaust yourself. If you want to grow as fast as possible, always work the Treadmill into your routine. Potions and Passes (such as VIP, Stamina Master, and Intelligent Trainer) also speed up your training.
Passes cost Robux, whereas you can get Potions as free log-in rewards. You don’t need to spend Robux to get big fast in Gym League, but there’s no denying it helps. That said, you can still make serious gains if you’re FTP (especially with the School Competition), so don’t throw your wallet in the ring if you don’t have to. Now go hit those weights!
