The Leash Glove is one of the funniest weapons to use against other Roblox players in Slap Battles. Watching them flounder about as you pull them along in the arena is just chaotic. They can’t do much either and few gloves can bypass its special ability. It’s nowhere near being the most OP glove in Slap Battles, but if you play the game for the sole reason of bothering people, in good fun, the Leash Glove should be in your collection.
How to Get the Leash Glove in Roblox Slap Battles
There is a catch, though. If you want the Leash Glove in Slap Battles, then be prepared to earn not one, but three different badges, specifically:
- Sorry to Burst Your Bubble
- Good Job
- Demonic Ritual
These three badges make up the trifecta needed to unlock the Leash Glove, and it all starts with having 5,500 Slaps. If you’re short a few Slaps, use some Slap Battles codes, assuming you haven’t already. That’ll unlock the Reverse Glove for you, the first of several gloves you’ll earn throughout your journey.
Earn the Sorry to Burst Your Bubble Badge
The Sorry to Burst Your Bubble badge isn’t particularly difficult to get, considering the Reverse Glove only costs Slaps. You don’t need any badges up until this point. Equip the Reverse Glove and head into a normal match.
You’re looking for a specific glove user: Bubble. The Bubble Glove has the nifty ability to fire a bubble, capturing the person it hits, making them float and eventually fall after popping. Normally, you’d avoid this, but activating the Reverse Glove’s “Opposite Day” ability causes the Bubble user to be captured instead.
For your cleverness, you’ll earn the Sorry to Burst Your Bubble badge, so that’s one down and two to go. You’re also awarded the Potato Glove, which is essential for the next part.
Earn the Good Job Badge
Back to the lobby and equip your new Potato Glove. Yes, it does look like a potato and no, you can’t eat it. Instead, we’re going to focus on its special ability, “Hot Potato.” You can probably guess where this is going!
Whenever you slap someone, they’ll have a “hot potato” which will explode after 15 seconds. If they’re fast enough, they can slap someone else and pass it on or send the hot potato back to you. Believe it or not, you want the hot potato back; in fact, you have to die to it.
You see, the Good Job badge is awarded when you’ve died to your own hot potato. Although there are alternatives to the trick, such as a Reverse user using their ability to make the hot potato backfire and even blowing up from another Potato user. Either way, you need to die a starchy death.
Earn the Demonic Ritual Badge
With the Good Job badge under your belt, you now have the Cult Glove in Roblox Slap Battles. Why cults are tied to potatoes in this game, I’ll never know. At any rate, equip the Cult Glove and start looking for some friends.
That last part wasn’t a joke—you need 15 other people on Roblox who also have the Cult Glove. It may sound like a daunting task, but it’s actually a lot easier than you think. Other players want the Leash Glove too, so they’re always out on the lookout for other Cult users. I suggest trying with the official Slap Battles Discord server, where you’ll be able to get in touch with other players looking to get the Demonic Ritual badge.
Once you have 15 other players and yourself, meet them in the normal arena. Oh, I should also mention this has to be done on a public server. If you check out the servers on the game page, you can find one that has a low population. With all 16 players wearing the Cult Glove, you’ll all be awarded the Demonic Ritual badge.
More importantly, the badge awards you with the Leash Glove and you can finally see what the fuss is all about. Whenever you slap someone, they’re tethered to, constantly being ragdolled and unable to do anything. The only gloves to avoid are The Schlob, Fish, and Sparky!
