Before the Cursed Dual Katana came the Sword of Demons. Though most Roblox players see Yama as a stepping stone toward that other blade, this hellish weapon is worthy in its own right. Its Hellish Slash knocks back and damages enemies, while Infernal Hurricane launches you into a multi-slash combo. The blade’s 10-second cooldown means you won’t have to wait long before launching your next attack either. Whether you want this cursed sword to harness its power or you want to use it to forge the Cursed Dual Katana, here’s how to get Yama in Blox Fruits.

Lay your hand on Yama too early, and you’ll die instantly. No pressure, right? So what’s too early? To get Yama without dying in Blox Fruits, you need to first kill 20-30 Elite Pirates. If you haven’t already done so, start by going to the Sea Castle and speaking with the Elite Hunter. Doing so will spawn an Elite Pirate for you to kill. You can only spawn an Elite Pirate every 10 minutes, however, so if you want to get Yama as fast as possible, try hopping onto some other servers and checking for spawned Elites there.

Once you have 30 kills, you have a 100% chance of claiming Yama without dying. Here’s what you need to do next:

  • Go to the Secret Temple on Hydra Island. You will find it behind the waterfall.
  • Use an attack to break the main door of the temple.
  • Defeat the five ghosts inside the temple.
  • Approach Yama and click on it. A message will appear warning you that you may die if you proceed. Accept the message and click on the sword again.

Acquiring Yama also grants you the title Demon Mode. You can now wield this blade and all its demonic fury. If you get your hands on the legendary sword Tushita and get 350 Mastery on both swords, you can then get the Cursed Dual Katana. Now that you know how to get Yama in Blox Fruits, you’re halfway there.

Roblox is available for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Android, and iOS.
