At the EA Play Live event a month ago, EA showed off several EA Originals titles that were inbound. For example, you had an upcoming game about divorce from the developer of A Way Out. One of the bigger and more notable titles though was Rocket Arena from developer Final Strike Games. Its trailer shows off fast-paced, rocket-based action that looks like a lot of fun. Today, the team is happy to announce that Rocket Arena is now available for Origin, Steam, PS4, and Xbox One. The game supports full crossplay between all platforms. You can find the cinematic launch trailer below.

Rocket Arena is a particularly explosive shooter that pits three players against another team in fast-paced combat. Each fighter chooses one of a set of heroes, each with their own diverse skill set that fits different playstyles. Battle across several maps through 100 progression levels in an effort to blast your opponent out of the arena. With so much to collect and plenty of progressions, players should have a lot of fun with it. You can pick up the game from its respective store for $29.99.

Kevin Franklin, co-founder of Final Strike Games, had the following to say on the game’s launch:

Our game is a truly unique hero shooter that’s unlike anything players have experienced. At the surface, the fun and frantic combat is quick to grasp, but behind the curtain there is a robust, deep game that’s highly competitive, full of rockets, and challenging to master. Our EA partnership has allowed our team to realize an uncompromised vision of Rocket Arena. With their support, we’ve crafted a deep multiplayer game, rich world and IP that we are incredibly proud of.”

If you’re more a fan of watching the action than playing it, you aren’t being left out either. Twitch Rivals is hosting the Rocket Arena Crater Cup where eight teams will compete for the chance at $100,000. The tournament is happening right now, and you can watch here.

Will you be trying Rocket Arena? Any characters you’re thinking of trying first? Let us know, and stay tuned at The Nerd Stash for all your news, reviews, and more!
