Everyone now knows that EA Motive is working on an Iron Man game. While the news was out there, we had yet to learn what type of game it could be. With the fame of the recent Spider-Man titles, many people were hoping for something in that style. That may be the case. A current job listing by EA Motive shows that the upcoming Iron Man game might be open-world. If true, it could be a step up for Iron Man video games. While we’ve seen the character in some titles, his time to shine is due.

The job listing is for a Senior Writer, but if you check the qualifications part, it says: “experience in open world and non-linear dialogue for games.” This listing means that the game being developed by EA Motive could feature an open world. Given the popularity of the recent Spider-Man games, this isn’t too crazy to believe. Many people think it is time for the philanthropist genius hero to get his big game, and EA Motive has the chance to make that a reality.

EA’s Iron Man Game Has Started Production
While this is only information from a job listing, nothing is official yet. Even if the qualifications ask someone to know open-world games, that doesn’t mean the product will be that. Yet, flying around as Iron Man without boundaries sounds fantastic. It is up to EA Motive to deliver a good Iron Man game now, and we genuinely hope it has an open world. Even if some players prefer a semi-open-world concept like in God of War: Ragnarok, others love big sprawling worlds to get lost in. Let’s hope we get more news in the coming future about this title and whatever type of game it is; we hope it does justice to this fantastic superhero.
