As of today, the website Biohazard Cast is claiming to have possible inside information of the next installment in the Resident Evil franchise. According to the website, the next game is going to be Resident Evil 8 Village, and will have both a PS4 and PS5 release in early 2021. That said, here is everything we know so far regarding the Resident Evil 8 Village rumors.

About Resident Evil 8: Village

More information was reportedly leaked to biohazard regarding a possible Chris Redfield character redesigned, and a new female nemesis called the witch. All of the leaks were also reportedly confirmed by notorious leaker Dusk Golem with the following statement: “I’m gonna’ say this now, it’s gonna’ be real”.

According to the site’s Resident Evil 8 Village Leaked information regarding the witch, it will both stalk and hunt the player and turns into insects when defeated, similar to other monsters in the previous games. Further information describes Chris Redfield making a return to the series with an important role to play in this next game’s plot. The character also apparently was redesigned to depict a gruesome and troubled past with flashbacks to reflect this.

Resident Evil 8: Village’s setting also reportedly takes place in Europe, but is yet know where exactly. The site also claims that the game will have either Resident Evil 4’s inventory system or that of Resident Evil 7 Biohazard, and it uncertain which because reportedly Capcom is still testing both.

So far, this is everything we know at this moment regarding the possible leaked game. You can find Biohazard Cast’s original article here we recommend checking it out for the full story. Also, we recommend taking these rumors with a grain of salt despite how plausible they are, because in the past, we have seen leaks that seemed almost 100% turn out to be false.
