The Division franchise has been a big one that has a big fanbase despite how long it was since its last DLC or game. While the game still launches content in the shape of Seasons, many gamers are hoping for the next big entry of the series. Well, according to some rumors, The Division 3 isn’t happening at Ubisoft as it would seem they aren’t working on it. While there are other titles of the series coming soon, the next big sequel might be further away than we thought. If this is true, many people are going to be sad about the news.
Ubisoft might skip The Division 3 to work on the other mobile and multiplayer titles
We all know that The Division as a series is bringing at least two more games. Resurgence and Heartland are the next entries that will be focused on mobile and multiplayer action respectively. We all know that the mobile market is growing, and it makes sense for Ubisoft to try bringing The Division to cellphones. On the other hand, we have Heartland which might get here this year and focus on a multiplayer-only game. This could work given the setting but many are hoping for Ubisoft to make The Division 3 instead.

Ubisoft Quietly Brings More Games To Steam
Sadly, this might not happen. The studio seems to be focusing on other games right now such as Assassin’s Creed. As we saw last year, the series is about to get a lot bigger, with many big and small titles coming. This might be after the feedback of Valhalla being too bloated for people to enjoy. Now, The Division 3 not being in the works at Ubisoft is sad, but at least the series will remain alive for a while. It still remains to see how long these games will last as they are joining the competition a bit late, but, we hope they are successful and stick around for a long time.
