Ubisoft has had quite the years lately. One of their most beloved franchise, Assassin’s Creed, has taken some big turns, for better or worse. Some players like the new RPG aspects. Gear management, upgrading. Things that made their way to Ghost Recon Breakpoint too. Yet, some people miss the good old days of the games. A great story, a smaller world, not managing gear, and so on. Well, it seems that Ubisoft is finally listening, or so it seems because, during the latest Ubisoft Forward 2022 event, we got some big announcements. From the new Assassin’s Creed Infinity platform to four upcoming franchise games and more.
Four New Assassin’s Creed Games Announced During Ubisoft Forward 2022
While Ubisoft Forward 2022 took its time to talk about other games like Skull and Bones, Mario + Rabbids, and The Division, the franchise that took the spotlight was another. The Assassin’s Creed franchise has a total of four new games coming in the future. The one that is confirmed to arrive next year is Assassin’s Creed Mirage. A game that promises to go back to its roots instead of having the bloated 150-hour playthrough in an open world with repetitive things. The Ubisoft Forward announcements for Assassin’s Creed games were:
- Assassin’s Creed Mirage – Releasing in 2023
- Assassin’s Creed Codename Red – TBA
- Assassin’s Creed Codename Hexe – TBA
- Assassin’s Creed Codename Jade – TBA
- Assassin’s Creed Infinity – TBA

Ubisoft Announces Assassin’s Creed Infinity
The Ubisoft Forward 2022 event took its time to explain what’s coming to the franchise. Codename Red is an upcoming title set in Feudal Japan that’ll put us in the shoes of a Shinobi. Codename Jade will be a mobile Assassin’s Creed game. Codename Hexe is still a mystery, but it seems it’ll revolve around witchcraft. Finally, another of the Ubisoft Forward announcements was Assassin’s Creed Infinity. A platform where we’ll be able to access all upcoming games of the franchise. It seems that Ubisoft is trying to cater to all audiences, which is perfect. Instead of making a game that players won’t like, they’ll try their luck at different ideas for all players to enjoy. You can watch the repetition of the Ubisoft Forward 2022 stream on the official YouTube channel, and Assassin’s Creed Mirage’s pre-orders are up now.
