Rooster Teeth Announced at RTX Austin that there will be an RWBY and Justice League crossover. The company will also be partnering with Warner Bros. Animation and Warner Bros. Home Entertainment to produce the first-ever feature film for the web series. Along with the film, it will also debut a new original story.
Rooster Teeth also announced, at this event, that RWBY: Arrowfell will launch this fall. The game will be available on Nintendo Switch, Playstation 4/5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. The company also showed a trailer for the upcoming RWBY: Arrowfell game.
“RWBY: Arrowfell”: What We Know So Far
The game’s cast features the original cast from the RWBY series. Dale North is composing the game’s music with vocals by Casey Lee Williams. What we know, so far, comes in a statement by game developer, Wayforward. The game will be written by RWBY writers Kerry Shawcross, Miles Luna, and Eddy Rivas. While playing the game, players will be able to control Team RWBY and have the ability to switch between flying solo missions and using multiplayer actions. Players will help Team RWBY work through the adventure of eliminating a “mysterious threat.”
Wayforward also shares that “as players explore Atlas, Mantle, and numerous surrounding environments, they will face off against the Creatures of Grimm and other enemies from the show.” This also includes never before seen monsters and threats exclusive to the game. At the same time, the game will also feature seven minutes of “exclusively created broadcast-quality animated” cutscenes. WayForward is developing the game under the supervision of Rooster Teeth.
The RWBY: Ice Queendom television anime will premiere in Japan on July 3rd. Crunchyroll will stream the series as it airs in Japanese with English subtitles. It will also stream an English dub.
The RWBY and Justice League crossover film will debut in 2023. The RWBY: Arrowfell game will be released at an undisclosed date in the fall.
