Savannah Chrisley reveals her “grief” as she prepares to spend her first Easter holiday without her parents — who are both serving time in jail for tax fraud crimes.
Back in November 2022, former reality stars Todd and Julie Chrisley were found guilty of being complicit in a $30 million tax fraud scheme. Consequently, Todd, 53, and Julie, 50, were sentenced to twelve and seven years in jail, respectively.
Additionally, the two were ordered to serve their jail time in separate prison facilities. While Todd will serve his time in Pensacola, Florida, Julie’s time will be completed in Lexington, Kentucky.
In January, Todd and Julie Chrisley said goodbye to their life of luxury as they headed off to prison. This left a big parental gap in the family, which Savannah Chrisley has had to fill for the time being.
However, it hasn’t been an easy task for the 25-year-old. Savannah admitted struggling to cope with the responsibility of caring for her younger brother Grayson, 16, and niece Chloe, 10.
Meanwhile, Todd and Julie have three other children — Lindsie, 33, Kyle, 31, and Chase, 26. They began raising Chloe when she was a baby due to Kyle’s addiction issues. In 2016, they legally adopted her.
