Savannah Chrisley is speaking out against the judge in her mom’s resentencing hearing. The podcaster was disappointed in the judge’s decision to stick with mom Julie Chrisley’s original 84-month sentence. The family was hoping her sentence would be reduced at the resentencing hearing

Savannah is looking forward to addressing the issues at length on her podcast, Unlocked. In the meantime, she shared a shorter video to address the comments about her family.

Savannah Was Visibly Upset as She Recorded the Video

In a video shared on Thursday, Savannah explained that she wanted to give fans an update, for those who didn’t know that Julie’s sentence remains the same.

That’s a hard pill to swallow for sure, considering the fact that the loss amount went from 4.7 million down to 1.7 million…but yet, she still chose to sentence her to 84 months. Not only did she sentence her to 84 months, but she also took some very personal jabs to our family in the courtroom.

U.S. District Judge Eleanor L. Ross admonished Julie in the courtroom, telling the reality star she doesn’t “get a pass” for having kids at home.

“I hope you and everyone concerned with this case are more concerned with your children’s wellbeing and not with TV ratings, podcasts, etc. My sentence will not change.”

Savannah Says the Family Will Continue to Fight

The former Chrisley Knows Best star wasn’t happy with the family comments. It was the focus of her video, shared on Thursday.

She insinuated that I wasn’t taking care of the kids’ emotional wellbeing and that I was doing things for TV ratings. I really don’t even know what to say. I was in shock when those things were being said and it really lit — as if I mean it wasn’s trong enough — it lit something greater in me because I don’t care what anyone says, Chloe and Grayson will always be my number one priority and I have sacrified so that they can have the life that they deserve.

Savannah Chrisley went on to note that the kids are in “constant therapy.’ She added the family is hard at work to make sure the kids “don’t become a statistic.” She vowed to elaborate further on her upcoming podcast episode. Her emphasis, however, was on the fact she didn’t appreciate her actions being taken out on her mother.

This judge…indirectly called me a liar by stating that I’m spreading false information. Anything I have put out, I have the documentation to back it up. I don’t put anything out without documentation. So I have it all. All she had to do was ask me, but instead she’s stating I’ve spread false information. That is not the truth.

Savannah concluded her video by saying that she “can’t stay quiet anymore.”

I’m going to protect me and my family and I’m gonna tell the truth and I’m going to implement lasting change. So if I have to suffer, so be it.

While there are people in the Chrisleys’ corner rooting for them, others feel differently. For those who are rooting for Savannah to take on the system, there are also those who say the system has spoken.

Some commenters have slammed Savannah. They believe she thinks her parents shouldn’t be held accountable because they’re her parents. However, Savannah isn’t alone in her work. Together with her legal team, they continue exploring options for Julie and Todd Chrisley.
