It is no secret that Scott Disick and Kourtney Kardashian have been going back and forth with each other for months now. Things really picked up once Mason Disick decided to move in with his father. The arguments are really starting to boil over as the holiday season approaches. It seems as though tensions are threatening to get even more out of hand as time goes on. Scott may be getting ready for a full-on war against Kourtney and Travis Barker.
According to In Touch Weekly, Scott Disick is ready to have it out with a “bitter” Kourtney Kardashian. It has also been reported that “He’d love a big showdown.” Scott and Kourtney met in 2006 while on a vacation in Mexico. Their on-again-off-again relationship was then documented through the family’s TV show, Keeping Up With The Kardashians. Later on, the two would welcome children Mason, Penelope, and Reign into the world. After almost a decade of being together, Kardashian called things off after some photos of Scott with another woman surfaced.
Scott Disick and Kourtney Kardashian Are Still at Each Other’s Throats
“I’ve worked so hard to keep this family together. It just makes me sad for the kids. He’s not being a good partner to me. I could never rely on him, depend on him for one single thing, and I don’t want to show my kids that that’s okay,” she added.
However, despite the former couple’s history, they were able to co-parent their children with relatively no issues. Until now, that is. Kourtney is worried that Scott will be too lenient of a parent to Mason Disick. The reality star is also worried that she will lose her children to their father. Her youngest son, Reign, has also been spending a lot of time with Mason and Scott.
Although Kourtney Kardashian may have some valid concerns about Scott Disick being the primary parent for Mason, Scott may surprise her. It has also been said that Scott has stopped his use of weight loss drugs since his son has come to live with him. That is a massive step in the right direction. Scott has stated that he wants to show Mason how to live a healthy lifestyle, and he must lead by example.
However, the Kardashian family drama is never that simple. Now, Kourtney has allegedly stated that she will not be attending any family holiday get-togethers if Scott is invited. While Disick is pushing back hard on this ultimatum, he can only do so much.
Scott Disick is ‘digging in his heels” and preparing for a drawn-out battle. On the other hand, Kourtney Kardashian and her husband, Travis Barker, are doing the exact same thing. Can these two parts of a broader family set aside their grievances for the holidays? Or will they let their personal beef get in the way of their children having a fun holiday season?
