Sea of Stars was released at the end of August 2023 for most gaming platforms. Since its release, Sabotage Studio has received very positive reviews about this title. Thanks to its beautiful pixel art, deep story, and endearing characters, it has made this game unique. It has also won the hearts of many. Fortunately for many, a DLC might be coming to Sea of Stars. Players will have more adventures with Valere, Zale, and the Solstice crew.

Sea of Stars was born as an indie RPG game on the Kickstarter platform, where it had a great development campaign to achieve its recent release. If you are unfamiliar with Kickstarter, this is a funding platform for creative projects where people can donate money. In the case of Sea of Stars, since its development, its page promised a “fully-fledged side adventure” that would be released as a free DLC for sponsors. Now that many people have finished the game’s main story, most crave this upcoming DLC of Sea of Stars.

The developers have already confirmed that this DLC will be called Throes of the Watchmaker and that they have already been working on it. Sabotage Studio even explained that part of the team has been behind the development of this new story. Now that the game is out, the team that worked on Sea of Stars will join the development of the DLC.

The exact release date is unknown for now, but they mentioned that it will take months of effort from the whole team. There are few other details, but from the name, many believe that the character of the Watchmaker will be closely related to the story. Hopefully, the DLC won’t take long to launch, but we hope they don’t rush, as the base game showed how much heart and passion was put into making it; now, we can’t wait to see the same for the DLC.
