Sean Diddy Combs had high hopes that his third bail attempt would find him heading to one of his luxury homes just in time to enjoy Thanksgiving dinner. However, the bold bail attempt by Combs and his legal team blew up in his face.
Radar Online reports that Sean Diddy Combs’ request to serve his time until his May trial at his private island is a NO from the judge. Diddy and his legal team apparently cooked up what they felt was an appropriate and strict form of house arrest for the shamed rapper.
Since his September arrest, Diddy has spent more than two months behind bars at the Metropolitan Detention Center. Combs and his legal team recently devised several reasonable options for Diddy.
As previously reported, during his third attempt, Diddy did everything he could to convince the judge to grant him bail. His lawyers asked for his release. They feel that having him under house arrest at his Star Island home is a more viable option.
They no more than got the words out of their mouths before the judge stopped them in their tracks. Stating, “not going to work.” They began negotiating, promising everything under the sun to make the deal more appealing to the judge.
Lawyers asked the judge to allow Combs to live at his Upper East Side apartment. However, guards would be on duty around the clock. They claim that Diddy would have no access to a phone or the internet except to contact his lawyers. He would also have to go through a legal process for family visits. Ultimately, the answer remains the same. So, an unhappy Sean Diddy Combs will dine on Thanksgiving from the jail menu.
On Thursday, Sean Diddy Combs won’t be enjoying an expensive Thanksgiving day dinner with his family. Instead, the rapper will join his new cell block pals dining on the basic jail holiday menu.
Fans Reveal Anger Over Sean Diddy Combs Bold Requests
People Magazine reports that Diddy’s day will begin with breakfast at 6 a.m., consisting of fruit, cereal, and breakfast pastries. His 11 a.m. Thanksgiving Dinner will consist of turkey roast or hot and sour tofu. Sides will include mashed potatoes, mixed vegetables, cranberry sauce, turkey gravy, and dinner rolls served along with assorted holiday pie.
However, the alleged sex trafficker and racketeer won’t be enjoying those Thanksgiving Day leftovers for dinner. Instead, he dine on peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. He will also have a side of potato chips, whole wheat bread, and fruit to tide him over.
Of course, Sean Diddy Combs will likely be in a sour mood. It pains him to know that he is missing out on a holiday stuck behind bars. Fans following Diddy’s arrest scandal story were not too sympathetic to the rapper’s holiday dilemma.
Many fans blasted the prison system with angry comments. “Diddy has three meals a day, clothes, health care, and a roof over his head. Many people in the United States don’t have that. This is right,” writes one angry commenter.
“That is more than he deserves. What happened to bread and water?” states another. “Is he really that bold to think he should await trial at one of his luxury homes?” questions one more.
Sean Diddy Combs continues to deny all accusations. Don’t expect him and his legal team to give up hope of getting him out on bail. They will likely try again before Christmas. However, it is unlikely that the judge will approve any future bail attempts. So Diddy might want to get comfortable where he is.
