Sean “Diddy” Combs‘ legal odyssey goes from bad to worse as he gets arrested in New York following a jury indictment. Once recognized as one of the most influential names in the hip-hop sphere, Diddy’s reputation took a stab this year amid allegations of sex trafficking, sexual abuse, and other related crimes. The downward plunge reached a tipping point on March 25, when Department of Homeland Security agents raided several of Diddy’s homes, grounded his plane, and ultimately truncated a planned Summer vacay with his kids D’Lila and Jessie Combs.
Several alleged victims have since come forward, hitting the rapper with abuse allegations that give credence to the investigations into his sexual trafficking case. After months of investigations, the 54-year-old wound up in federal custody, and arraigned in Lower Manhattan federal court. According to reports, the FBI arrested Sean Diddy Combs on Monday night, one day ahead of the initially planned arrest. While the exact reason behind the earlier date remains a mystery, the Bad Boy Record CEO remained in custody at an FBI field house in Manhattan pending his court hearing.
Sean Diddy Combs’ Kids Turn Up For Him After Indictment and Arrest
Following his arrest, Sean Diddy Comb’s kids made their way to the federal building to support their dad as he officially faced the judge. Photos showed the mogul’s sons King Combs, Quincy Brown, and Justin Dior Combs arriving at the federal building in Manhattan, New York. The trio had somber expressions, visibly dejected by their dad’s plight as they made their way into the building.
Sean Diddy’s kids sat through the proceedings as their dad stood before U.S Magistrate Judge Robyn Tarnofsky on three criminal charges following his indictment. Despite their steadfast support alongside Diddy’s attorney Marc Agnifilo, the judge denied him bail after he pleaded “not guilty” to all charges.
The judge’s decision left Diddy’s sons dejected as they snuck out of the federal courthouse attempting to avoid the paps. Sean Diddy’s kids have since sidestepped all attempts to have them comment on his arrest and the ongoing controversy.
Sean Diddy Combs was arraigned before the federal court judge on Tuesday on charges of racketeering, sex trafficking, and transportation to engage in prostitution. Earlier, attorney Marc Agnifilo released a statement, referring to the whole ordeal as an “unjust” prosecution.” Going further, the attorney noted per TMZ that Diddy was “an imperfect person, but not a criminal.” Hence, he urged the public to desist from judging him before having all the facts in order. Although the stakes are not looking great for Sean Diddy Combs, his kids’ unwavering support through his sex trafficking scandal and after his arrest offers a level of solace as he walks through his toughest moments
