People attend concerts to have fun while listening to their favorite artists. They should feel at ease rather than being on guard. Unfortunately for a Seattle black woman, her experience at a 2hollis concert was terrible. She shared how, throughout the show, she could hear people behind her making comments on her braids. At some point, she could even feel hands pulling her hair, and she would have to pull it back. While she felt all of this, she didn’t expect that her braids would be ripped out of her head. It was when she woke up the next day that she saw what had happened to her hair. There is one braid that isn’t there anymore, so someone actually took one of her braids, which is honestly shocking.
In addition to the lost braid, the Seattle woman showed how another braid was barely hanging on her head. If she pulled it with a little bit of force, it would be ripped out, too. There is another braid that is in the same condition as well. Understandably, the poor woman kept repeating “Oh my God” in shock. What makes this even more disturbing is that the same thing happened to another woman also at a 2hollis concert. This other woman shared a video back in September showing that her hair was being ripped out at the concert, and it got matted. She ended up having to get a pixie cut. This is simply insane. What exactly happens at 2hollis concerts?
People Reacting to What Happened to the Seattle Black Woman
People were left shocked at what happened to the Seattle woman. After all, this isn’t something that you hear about every day. Since she is a black woman, one person believed that what happened was because of her race. “This was racially motivated can’t convince me otherwise,” they wrote. This made the victim reply and say, “I kept hearing ‘I can’t with this [expletive] in the the braids’ from some underage boys behind me. It was DEF feeling charged.” The same thing happened to more women, as one said, “girl my hair extensions got ripped out and matted to my real hair AND IT WAS IN A BUN. The crowd was so awful.” Another woman wrote, “I had my hair in a bun it’s completely matted now I don’t know how I’m going to brush through it my mom said it looks like a wig from party city bruh.”
More comments kept saying that what happened to the Seattle woman isn’t a rare thing at 2hollis concerts. “I love 2hollis and I bought tix to the concert but I NEED him to address the blatant assault at his concerts..it’s okay to mosh, it’s okay to party but when people are deadass being assaulted in ways that I’ve been seeing from people’s (mainly women) post concert videos it is NOT okay… I’m sure he sees these kinds of vids too.. I’m so sorry this happened to you bby,” one person wrote. Another person shared the same opinion as they said, “2hollis needs to say something abt this. I keep seeing women get hurt at his shows.” Someone should look into this because if this event happens regularly, then it could end badly one day.
