Selena Gomez was dubbed a delight as photos of her Deadline’s Contenders Television appearance circulated in April 2022. The signer and actress, 31, looked pretty in pink as she stepped out in a chic minidress that Spring, hitting up the L.A.-held event in backless heels as she highlighted her enviable figure.
When The Daily Mail published images of Selena’s look, fans loved her classic style, and some even appeared to appreciate seeing a celebrity who was covering up a little. Despite putting on a leggy display, Selena had opted for a relatively conservative outfit, rocking a boucle minidress and chic matching jacket as she flew the flag for girly style.
Selena Gomez Looks Pretty In Pink
Rocking baby pinks as she went figure-hugging in a woven wool minidress with small stomach cut-outs, Selena kept classy in her thigh-grazing number, smiling for the cameras as she showed off a fitted matching jacket adorned with button detailing.
Adding in pops of black and gold from her buttons, Selena chose affordable brand MANGO, and she even matched her French-tip, pink manicure to her two-piece outfit. Coordinating her pointed-toe, black mules with those statement buttons, Selena looked like a doll as she wore her dark hair a little tied back, with her bangs perfectly framing her face.
Rocking winged eyeliner and a soft pink lip, Selena showed off a gorgeous face of makeup complete with pink blush, completing her look with hoop earrings.
Fans Say It’s A ‘Refreshing’ Sight
Leading the way in the comments as they gained over 300 likes was a fan saying: “She looks lovely. Such a pretty girl.” Agreeing, another wrote: “Selena knows how to dress without the smut factor. It’s refreshing to see on this site.”
A third fan, meanwhile, called the Texan “pure class” as they gushed over her wardrobe choice. Selena has it a little less easy in 2024, with fans shading her Cannes Film Festival looks. While Gomez rocked an array of designer brands including Balmain and YSL during the high-profile France event last month, many felt that her stylist had gotten a lot of the looks wrong.
Selena, who has fronted Louis Vuitton and PUMA in the past, has also designed collaborations for luggage brand Coach. Of her 2018 collab with the brand now fronted by fellow singer Jennifer Lopez, the Only Murders in the Building star revealed:
“It was also important to me to have an empowering message inserted into the collection and I chose to incorporate the message ‘Not perfect. Always me,’ which are words I remind myself constantly and think it’s an message everyone should remind themselves of.”
