While Gomez has recently made headlines for reportedly losing weight, fans didn’t seem to be seeing it here. The “Love On” hitmaker, who suffers from the autoimmune condition Lupus, made January 2024 headlines for confirming that the medication she takes to manage her condition can make her weight fluctuate.

Looking glamorous at the BAFTA Film preview of her movie, Selena wore her dark locks tied back, adding black heels, plus a flawless face of makeup.
Turning heads with her sleek long ponytail and matte cosmetics, the Rare Beauty founder was filmed backstage, where a glam crew member was seen applying the finishing touches. Photos on The Daily Mail also included her main appearance, one featuring costar Zoe Saldana. Notably, the outlet mentioned Selena’s recent weight loss and the Ozempic rumors she’s been sparking.
Told Her Weight Gain Is ‘Amazing’
Challenging the suggestion that Selena is taking the weight loss drug, one fan gained likes for saying: “Given her medical history, I highly doubt she would be on ozempic. Her weight fluctuates because of her medication and her health.”
