Earlier this month, the 32-year-old had The Daily Mail referring to her figure as “shrinking” as some fans suspected she was using the weight loss drug. This week, though, users are body-shaming her again, but calling her too large.
Selena, who suffers from the autoimmune condition Lupus, has confirmed that her weight can fluctuate on account of the medication she takes. While the pop singer has largely been celebrated for embracing her curves, it looks like the trolls are still around to make those nasty comments. Showing off a chic bodysuit and pants look this week, Selena was called “chunky” by one user, and they weren’t alone in shaming her.

Displaying her healthy-looking curves, Selena kept classy in a clingy black bodysuit from hip brand Khaite.
Drawing the eye to her hourglass curves, the “Wolves” hitmaker wore a wide-legged pair of cream pants over it, going tapered and with a statement black-and-gold belt adding metallic accents. Flying the flag for lightweight fall style, Selena teamed her two-piece ensemble with pointed-toe heels in black as she stepped onto a New York City sidewalk.
Accessorizing her look with a swanky leather bag boasting the YSL logo in gold, Selena looked a million miles from her former Disney days, completing her glam with soft-waved locks worn down, plus a matte makeup layer.
Getting Called ‘Chunky’ With An ‘Odd Figure’
Chances are, those commenting were well aware of the billionaire’s health battles. Likewise, her January weight reveal. The photos were published earlier today on The Daily Mail.
“She has an odd figure for a young woman but glad she doesn’t feel the need to be rail thin,” one user replied. In a particularly cruel reply, another said: “She does feel the need, just likes the cake a bit too much.”
While one fan said that Selena was “chunky-looking,” another suggested that her outfit was an attempt to hide being too large. “The oldest trick in the book. High-waisted trousers cover the muffin top. That said, she does look lovely here,” the troll wrote.
Fortunately, plenty of positive replies came in, with some fans saying that they love Selena’s style of late. Her outing comes amid ongoing buzz for her new Emilia Perez movie, which already won her a prestigious Cannes Film Festival award in May.
