The singer and actress, 31, went viral for showing off a classy, partially-sheer gown as she attended the January event, however, many seemed to think that the look was aging her.
Pairing her deep red dress with dark burgundy lipstick, Selena had fans likening her to a 50-year-old, and it wasn’t just the odd isolated comment. One fan even asked why the ex to Justin Bieber looks like she’s “60.” Gomez, who has since made headlines for her carousel of designer looks at the 2024 Cannes Film Festival, had fans questioning her stylist’s skills, something that her Cannes outfits also led to.

Fans Think She Looks “50”
The comments are out of control. Over 300 fans agreed with a comment reading: “They made her look like she’s 50 years old.”
Gaining a similar number of likes, another fan replied: “Nice, but it ages her. She looks way older than what she actually is. Also maybe different shoes would have been better.” Selena is 26 years old. The most-followed woman on Instagram is adored for her low-key charm, raw and real vibes, and love of no-makeup selfies. Unfortunately for Gomez, the remarks just kept on coming.
