Why Is the Organ Donor of Selena Gomez, Francia Raisa, Being Bullied?
Raisa started getting cyberbullied after dodging questions about her friendship status with the Hands To Myself singer. The trouble between the Grown-ish actress and Gomez started last November. The singer had announced that Taylor Swift was her only friend in the industry. Raisa, who donated a kidney to the Good For You singer in 2017, then replied with “interesting” in a since-deleted comment. However, Gomez later apologized on TikTok that she omitted some people.
Earlier this month, Francia Raisa faced questions about where her friendship with Selena Gomez stands. However, the How I Met Your Father actress did not give any answer to the question. She shared with TMZ that there have been very bad comments about her online since then.
Raisa shared with the outlet the comment which hurt her the most out of the numerous comments. In the statement, a bully hoped the actress’s other kidney would be ripped from beneath her. The Bring It On All or Nothing star then pointed out that she does not condone bullying in any form, nor does Gomez.
How Has Raisa Been Handling Cyberbullying?
The “Kill Em with Kindness” singer has urged people to stop cyberbullying, but that has not changed much. Francia Raisa shared that being bullied has been messing with her mental health. She also pointed out that Gomez has a nonprofit dedicated to mental health and is not in support of bullying.
Per ET, the Shredderman Rules actress shared how she has been handling the comments online. Raisa shared that she was doing her best not to pay attention to the bullies. She does not read their words, nor does she listen to what they say.
The actress continued that she is just living her life happily. Raisa added that she has also been a hardcore fan and understands their loyalty. However, bullying people was not an excellent way to handle things. She also urged people to stop cyberbullying others, including herself.
