Shameless Louisiana Women Caught Stealing Candy Bowl and Pumpkins Made by Young Girls While in Their Company Vehicle: ‘Grown Adults?!’

People don’t have any feelings anymore

While Halloween is meant to be fun, some people spoil it for others. Not a single Halloween goes by without someone losing candy or decorations. In Louisiana, two brazen women stole all the candy left outside a house. After grabbing 40 Fun Dips, one of them decided it wasn’t enough and took two decorative pumpkins as well. Their actions were made even more frustrating by the fact that they were laughing. As they began to leave, a woman came outside and confronted them. “Can you put my pumpkins back, please?” she asked, only for them to quicken their pace.

The Louisiana mom made it clear she wasn’t upset about the candy. What really angered her was how the women had taken her daughters’ pumpkins. “Those are my daughters’,” she told them, repeating her request. The two women even dared to commit the theft while in their company vehicle, with a man waiting inside in front of the house. The mom appeared to speak to him, letting him know they had taken her daughters’ pumpkins. He must have been aware, as he was clearly with them. “Give back my pumpkins,” she demanded again. “Those are my little girls’ pumpkins,” she added.

Throughout the confrontation, the man stayed in the vehicle and could be heard talking, though it wasn’t clear what he was saying. The mom made sure to let them know that their company information was visible on the vehicle. Eventually, someone from the car came to the house and returned the two stolen pumpkins, though neither an apology nor the candy was given back. Frustrated, the mom began putting the table and empty candy bowl inside, slamming them in the process. Anyone in her position would have been upset.

At the end of the video, the Louisiana mom added a picture of the thieves inside the vehicle. The company’s name is Zabala Roofing & Construction. On Angi, people made sure to leave negative reviews. Currently, the company has a 1.1-star rating. Since it was clear that the two women and those with them were Hispanic, the mom made sure to clarify that she would have shared the Ring footage no matter who they were. “This isn’t an ethnic problem, this is a problem because these people aren’t good people. It’s one thing to take all of the candy. It’s another to steal pumpkins that are obviously decorative,” she commented. Anyone who does something like this deserves to be shamed.

People Reacting to the Shameless Louisiana Women

People were shocked by what the Louisiana women did. It was disgusting that grown-up people would do this. “Grown adults?! You’re joking! And the amount of times you had to ask for YOUR pumpkins back,” one woman wrote. It wasn’t just that they stole from that house, but the mom added that they planned to do this to other houses. This made people even more upset. A lot of comments were disturbed that old people would do this, as another woman commented asking, “Is that old ladies stealing the candy???” Others believed that the mom should have reacted differently, as one person said, “You not yelling loud enough.” Someone else shared, “Maybe I’m petty, but I’d call the police.”

Unfortunately, since the Louisiana women were Hispanic, a lot of the comments were racist. This made Hispanic people apologize. “As a hispanic i feel so embarrassed. Im so sorry,” one woman wrote. Another person said, “As a Hispanic business owner, this deeply embarrasses me! Their actions do not represent us. Zabala Roofing needs to issue a public apology!” A lot of people were also horrified by the amount of racism that some comments displayed. This is why someone added, “the racism in the comments is wild. What they did was wrong but that doesn’t make racism towards them ok.” What the women did was definitely not okay, but that doesn’t mean people should be racist.
