Despite the dire state of the nation, a Washington mother doesn’t believe children should participate in politics. Motherly instincts kicked in for one conservative parent who withdrew her daughter from school after catching them in a protest.
The concerned parent documented the incident in a TikTok post, showing how she pulled up to the school to find students littered outside. “Is this serious? I’m pulling my child today,” she declared while walking into the building. “This is my daughter’s middle school being allowed to protest ICE agents. Disrupting traffic.” Once in the building, she told the school administrators that she wanted to pull her child immediately. “This is unbelievable,” she muttered under her breath.
While the school staff tried to explain what was going on, the mother argued that the protest was disrupting her daughter’s education and wasn’t right. She then expressed her frustration, saying that students booed heavily as she walked toward the building. As a result, she requested that a staff member escort her and her daughter off the premises because she was fearful for their safety. “I’m telling you right now, this is going to be a huge problem, guys,” she warned. “I cannot believe my child is in this environment right now.”
The mom noted she was “ashamed” and “embarrassed” as an adult that such activity was allowed on school grounds. “I thought my kid was safe here,” she said to one staff member, who replied, “They are very safe here.” However, she argued that she wasn’t safe walking up to the front door, so they couldn’t ascertain the safety of her daughter. “They’re protesting ICE agents. They are allowing kids to miss class, disrupt traffic, and put people in danger,” the mother declared.

While in the vehicle, as she drove her daughter home, she begged her. “You cannot be mad at mommy right now. This is not my fault, but you’re not safe here anymore.” Fans online seemed to agree with the mother’s action, saying she wasn’t overreacting. “Politics do not belong in school,” wrote one commentator. Another comment read, “They are not schools anymore, they are indoctrination camps.” This user suggested, “I guarantee no middle school kids got together and decided to do this. 100% adults,” while another noted, “What this school is teaching is only 1 step before these students start thinking it’s okay to use violence as a protest.”
