A man in Tennessee found what he called a “beautiful, little baby owl” just standing on his driveway. Little did he know that the owl in question was going to give him the most judgmental look in the world, probably looking straight into the man’s soul.
The encounter was posted online by TikToker Ace Kali, a self-described real estate investor and builder. After showering the owl with aforementioned praise, Ace decided to slowly zoom in on it with his phone camera. Not feeling amused at all by the man’s presence, the owl decided to give him a menacing look, sort of like a frown taken to the extreme.
As the owl, feeling itself the center of attention, moved its head to the left as if it was posing, the Tennessee man said, “Now it’s showing off. So beautiful.”
The driveway footage cuts abruptly, and then Ace shows the menacing owl now with a much more relaxed and curious look. It was sitting on top of his ceiling fan in his garage, and Ace was not too happy.
“Tell me why this owl just flew in my garage, bro,” he said. “Oh. My. Gosh. You need to get the hell out, buddy.”
While he seemed annoyed, Ace still shared some photos he took of the owl. Two of the pics show it giving the same look as before. Another one shows the owl sitting on top of the garage ceiling fan, and the last one even shows it standing on the man’s wall tool organizer.
A Screech Owl, Reactions
Users felt the owl’s energy almost immediately. Some bird experts even pointed out it was not an owl baby that tormented the Tennessee man, but a full-grown screech owl. Reportedly, people travel for hours to see these beauties in the wild. And here is Ace Kali, having one of them in his driveway. What a lucky fellow.
“Oh my God, someone in the house is going to Hogwarts,” one user commented. A second one said, “You better turn off the light and let that baby sleep over! He’s tired!” A third person added, “Owl expert here. It’s actually called teeny tiny cutie baby owl.”
Ace eventually let the screech owl go. Once he saw the love the little animal garnered, with hundreds of thousands reacting to the clip, he grew regretful of his decision. Perhaps, someday, man and bird will meet again.
