After finally convincing everyone that Hans and Henry are messengers, you are now tasked with helping Von Bergow. Among your tasks is some dirty work, including torturing a man to extract information about a group of bandits. If you don’t mind being a bit cruel, you will eventually learn that Olda Semine is working with them. While surprising, this is not entirely unexpected, as the man left shortly after his wedding. Now, you must decide whether or not to turn Semine in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2.

Although Hans will ask whether you should turn Semine in or not, the true decision comes when you speak with Von Bergow upstairs. The best choice is to stay quiet about Semine. According to the jailed man, only Olda Semine is working with the bandits, motivated by his dissatisfaction with Von Bergow. He explicitly stated that Semine’s people knew nothing about the plan. While Henry argued that Von Bergow was honorable, the jailed man mocked his faith.
To keep this information a secret in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, simply choose other dialogue options during the cutscene. If you don’t tell Von Bergow about Semine, the next quest you receive will be ‘For Victory!’ This quest marks the first point of no return, where you will attack the bandits’ camp. You can still complete other side quests, except for the ‘Demons of Trosky’ side quest.
If you decide to tell Von Bergow about Semine, you will receive a special mission to attack Semine. You will have a chance to confront Lord Semine, but his father refuses to hand him over to Von Bergow. At this point, you can choose to side with either Von Bergow or Semine.
Siding with Von Bergow is the worst choice, as his men will kill Olda and everyone in the area before burning down the castle. If you side with Semine, you will have to kill Von Bergow’s men. Unfortunately, this still results in Semine Castle being burned to the ground.
Note that you should not tell Von Bergow that you’ve killed his men, as this choice will lead to a bad end. As you can see, keeping quiet about Semine is the best choice in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. If you haven’t forgotten, you’re not exactly friends with Von Bergow, so there’s no harm in hiding this information from the noble.
