Get ready to experience a spine-chilling adventure like never before with Hollowbody. It promises to offer a unique blend of Cyberpunk and horror, drawing inspiration from the acclaimed Silent Hill series. With an immersive storyline and stunning visuals, Hollowbody is said to be the most anticipated game of the year, and the title got a 5-minute trailer today from Headware Games.
Hollowbody Is Set For An Early 2024 Release
Headware Games, based in Bristol, U.K, released a five-minute gameplay trailer for their upcoming survival horror game Hollowbody, and it looks promising. It is described as “A tech-noir tribute to classic survival horror.” The players will take on the role of Mica, an unlicensed courier working for a black market syndicate in a dystopian Bristol of the future.
In the trailer, Mica crash-lands in a deserted neighborhood outside the city’s habitable zone, much like Blade Runner 2049. She is stranded without resources or communication with her employers. She must survive on her own in the desolate ruins of the quarantined area to find a vehicle, fix it or find another way of shelter. Do you have what it takes to survive?
The trailer also shows that solving environmental puzzles and scavenging deserted problems wouldn’t be all for Mica. Why? Because she isn’t alone, some post-human monsters considered illegal by black market technology aren’t exactly the company one wishes for.
Other than Silent Hill, Hollowbody draws inspiration from other real-life issues, such as wealth inequality and class conflict. Nathan Hamley, the game’s creator, told NME that he chose a near-future setting to make the horror elements of the game more relatable. The game’s environment is based on real-life Bristol as a metaphor for post-Brexit Britain.
Drawing inspiration from Silent Hill and immersing fans in the game’s post-Brexit cyberpunk world, are you ready to face the challenges head-on in Headware Games’ Hollowbody after seeing the trailer?
