Fan of Command and Conquer and Halo? Then this game is a must-buy for you. Makers of the acclaimed series ARMA have finally released early access for their newest title, Silica.
‘Silica’ Early Access is Out Now
Silica is an immersive experience that blends both the RTS and FPS genre. The game is set in the deserts of Baltarus, where players can choose between being a general or an infantry soldier. Both of the choices offer a unique experience. Being a general gives you the freedom to build and improve your base in the scorching desert, while being an infantry soldier lets you fight in the front lines with your trusty laser gun.
Players can choose between three factions, namely Sol, Centauri, and Baltarus. Silica in early access still provides an enjoyable experience to all. Multiplayer is also available to everyone who owns the game. And the catch is a party can choose whether they are the general or infantry soldier, meaning one person can build the base while their friends battle toe-to-toe for them.
There are currently three game modes of Silica, namely: strategy, prospector, and arena. All of these are available in Silica early access. According to the developers, the game will be in early access for 9-12 months, wherein the lead developer will implement improvements and expansions based on feedback from the community.
Silica retails at $19.99 during early access and $24.99 after it finishes its development stage. A Discord server is also available for players who want to discuss the game or its potential improvements. As of this writing, there are currently no reviews for Silica in Steam, so leave a review for future references of people who would like to buy it.
