Sister Wives fans have been watching Christine Brown’s love story with David Wooley play out on television. Season 19 has been a bit of a whirlwind, showing events from two years ago and seemingly catching up with reality as the season has progressed. However, many viewers aren’t impressed with the way Christine has been handling her newfound love in front of her kids.
After seeing how Christine acted with Kody Brown for many years, Sister Wives fans have been shocked to see so much PDA from the mother of six. She’s constantly sticking her tongue down David’s throat. And more notably, the TLC star gave him a lap dance in front of friends and family at their wedding. In recent episodes, many viewers have started to feel bad for Christine’s kids.
Sister Wives Fans Grossed Out By Christine’s PDA
Not only have Christine’s children been vocal about how they have felt abandoned by their father, Kody Brown, but now they have to watch PDA on display 24/7 with their mom’s new beau. One Reddit user took the time to point out how uncomfortable Ysabel looked in one recent scene on the show.
“I genuinely feel bad for Christine’s kids. They’re adjusting to a lot – I can’t imagine being discarded by your dad while he declares to the world he never loved your mom and wish be hadn’t married her,” the Sister Wives fan wrote.
They continued, “Ysabel looks sooooo uncomfortable here. Christine needs to GROW UP. Your kids should come first. Always.” The Reddit user pointed out some of the inappropriate behavior Christine has been taking part in in front of her kids. “It’s disgusting to be that sexual in front of your minor children,” they wrote.
Other Sister Wives fans agreed. While one person stated that Christine and David were allowed to show as much PDA as they wanted, it is disrespectful that they continue to do it when her kids have vocalized that it makes them uncomfortable.
“I noticed that her kids vocalized they weren’t comfortable which is 100% a reflection of Christine’s parenting. But then Christine is like, cool, I don’t care,” one person pointed out. Although Christine has made her kids comfortable talking to her, it doesn’t seem like she really cares.
“I like her a lot but the girls gone wild Christine shouldn’t be on full display for the kids,” another Sister Wives fan stated.
It seems like most viewers agree with the sentiment. Christine has been a fan-favorite for a long time. However, she’s losing favor with her actions and the dismissal of her kids’ feelings. Fans already know how things play out. Christine Brown married David Wooley after only months of knowing each other, despite her children’s misgivings. Now, it seems like fans aren’t that happy for her after all.
