Kody Brown is ready to undergo another significant change hot on the heels of losing three of his wives. The Brown patriarch, first introduced to fans in 2010, started with four wives — Christine Brown, Janelle Brown, Meri Brown, and Robyn Brown. However, the famed plural marriage has since fallen apart, leaving just Robyn with Kody.
With his marriage to Robyn now standing on shaky ground, the TLC star wants to change countries to escape his new reality. Kody made the shocking confession on Sunday’s episode of Sister Wives after an emotional talk with Robyn about their future. “I got an itch to move so bad, just to get away from the energy of it all,” he admitted. “I got to get out of here because this isn’t going to work for me because all the memory, all the energy of it, I just don’t know.” Explaining how he knows his decision seems unusual, Kody said:
“And here’s the stupid thing. I’ve got kids in college, kids in grade school — but I want to move to Europe. I want to get away from this where I can’t see it or be bombarded by it or feel it anymore.”
Kody explained to Robyn that his tumultuous divorce from his ex-wives, especially Janelle, greatly inspired his desire to relocate. Complaining that Janelle “wants to do things different than what I want to do,” Kody admitted defeatedly, “We’re just not matching up.”

After more than a decade of plural marriage, the women began leaving one after the other. Christine announced her separation first in 2021, with Janelle following suit in December 2022. Meri dealt the final blow in January 2023. Kody’s split from Janelle has been the most heated, with the 53-year-old threatening to involve a lawyer, People reports.
Kody, who fathered 18 children with all four women, didn’t reveal if he has begun plans to move abroad. However, fans online are appalled by his confession.
“I have no idea anybody found him attractive at all. Narcissist comes to mind, emotionally abusive, is 2nd,” one fan wrote.
“The ONLY thing wrong with this man is that he only has ONE woman left!!! He can no longer run from house to house to get away from the others,” a second fan theorized.
“Wow!! How did any of these women marry this guy!? Robin should run too,” a third fan advised. “How does a real man just want to leave his 18 kids just because things get a little rough?“
Kody continues to be on a short leash with fans of Sister Wives. He might have made things worse with talks about a possible move to Europe.
