Sister Wives Mykelti Brown is reflecting on the unthinkable last week of her life. The daughter of Christine Brown and Kody Brown — who is married and a mom herself — took to the Patreon vlog she shares with her husband, Tony Padron, to share an update with fans. It was the first update Mykelti shared since her family faced the tragedy of losing Garrison Brown at 25.
Mykelti Was Grateful for Fans’ Support
Mykelti, who many Sister Wives fans follow, began by explaining to fans that any content that’s gone up on her account since her absence was pre-scheduled sponsored content that she “left as it was” and was transparent that there were a few more to come. She then shifted into discussing her past week “in Flagstaff last week with my husband and all of my family.”
It was for obvious reasons. My brother passed away and it sucked, a lot. I’m a bright side kind of person and I always like to look at the bright side of everything. The bright side of his passing is that he’s obviously no longer in pain or hurting or sad because he’s in a better place. Of course, I hope he’s in a better place. The other bright side is that I got to see all of my family together for the first time in years. I think that ultimately Garrison would have been happy by that.

After taking a moment to deal with her kids playing in the background, she explained changes to her coming schedule as she starts to settle back into her “regular routine.” Mykelti noted that “Garrison wouldn’t want us all to stop living our lives.”
Mykelti also briefly acknowledged that Garrison’s funeral took place Saturday, noting that her family of five went home that night. The next day was spent taking the day to “breathe and decompress and cry a lot.”
The Brown Family Is Making Plans with Garrison’s Memory in Mind
She then shared that the family plans to gather a few more times in the weeks and months to come to honor his memory.
We do have some more things for him, in honor of him, coming up this next month then some more. In the next couple of months, there’s a Brown family reunion in Wyoming that most of my family is going to, to honor him.

Earlier this week, the mom of three shared an Instagram post in honor of her brother, where she shared her sadness at the loss of Garrison while also being happy he is no longer in pain. She also lamented that her kids will not remember their uncle.
Garrison was always the funniest person in the room. He was one cool dude and I cry so much because my kids will never be able to experience his fun presence. But he will live on in all my families memories.
