Young people can do crazy things sometimes. Some of these things might not be that serious, while others deserve to be treated as criminal activity. One Washington resident filmed six unhinged teens, who decided to destroy a fence for no reason at all. According to the resident, those “punk kids” got off the bus before they started destroying the fence. After they did this, they decided to bolt and leave the scene. Therefore, they started running to the bus stop and caught the next bus. So, they basically managed to flee the scene.
In the video, you can see the six kids as they begin to destroy a fence. They start by kicking several parts of it, which caused a lot of planks to fall down. Of course, this left gaps in the fence, including a large hole, since they destroyed several planks that were next to each other. You can see one of them standing back and admiring what they are doing as he starts to laugh. Apparently, it’s a joke now to destroy fences and run away. If they think themselves brave enough to do this, why didn’t they stay?
People Reacting to the Washington Kids
People in the community were pretty upset about what they just saw. A lot of social media users believed that the Washington kids should be arrested. One person wrote, “WA has a Willful Misconduct of a Minor statute. I hope they find the parents and make them pay for their little monsters.” Others suggested that the teens should be forced to build the fence they just destroyed. “Should make the kids rebuild the fence,” someone said.
Another person agreed by saying, “This. They should learn the value of hard work by repairing what they broke. Pay back society.” One Redditor even asked the resident who filmed the video to report what they saw. The cameraman, however, didn’t believe that something would come of it. They said in response:
“I called it in and then called back to update. They said they would try to make contact with the bus driver, but I’m not sure if anything will come of it.”
To make matters worse, this isn’t the first time those kids were seen around causing chaos. One person shared how they saw them before as they said, “Those same kids are often just aimlessly wandering the Kent Station parking garage smoking weed. They’re a known nuisance.” Another person described the kids as “Animals.”
There were also some people who wanted to resort to violence. “Now .. stay with me on this… If someone were to say, pepper spray these kids, would they die? No, no they would not. They’d be ouchie for a bit, they’d be whiny, but otherwise they’d suffer no permanent damage. Would they kick down fences again…? No, no they probably would not. Will a stern talking to, or fining their parents, keep them from kicking down fences again … No, no it will not,” they wrote. Honestly, at this point, those kids should be taught a lesson since this isn’t their first time.
