Skai Jackson is taking her son’s father, Deondre Burgin, to court. The Disney Channel star has requested a restraining order against Burgin after claiming he’s been abusing her for more than a year. She detailed several incidents in her filing, with the most recent one happening on Mother’s Day.

According to legal documents obtained by TMZ, Skai Jackson and Deondre Burgin’s latest altercation happened in front of their son, Kasai. The actress was celebrating Mother’s Day with her baby when Burgin began attacking her. He is said to have grabbed her hair and then slammed her head against a car window. Burgin also allegedly punched her in the face.
Unfortunately, Burgin lashing out at Jackson has been a regular occurrence throughout their relationship. Jackson claimed there was even a six-month period last year when Burgin abused her weekly. She accused him of choking and scratching her, as well as slamming her head into a wall. She also said Burgin damaged her iPhone and television.
On top of that, Burgin allegedly terrorized Jackson during her pregnancy by telling her to drink bleach to kill their unborn child. He is also said to have threatened to stab her in the stomach.
During another incident, which happened last summer, Burgin allegedly punched through a bathroom door after Jackson had locked herself inside. He then hit her head against the wall and choked her.

The domestic abuse allegations come just a few months after Skai Jackson and Deondre Burgin welcomed their son, Kasai. The Jessie star announced the little one’s arrival in January by sharing a photo of her holding her son’s hands on Instagram. She revealed Kasai’s name in her caption. Celebrities like Winnie Harlow and Sunisa Lee showed their support by liking and commenting. Although Jackson has kept details about Kasai private, she did tell People in November that she was “thrilled” to be starting motherhood.
Considering she was so excited to expand her family, fans are angry to hear about what happened between Jackson and Burgin. “This is beyond evil. He needs to be in prison immediately,” one person said in response to the abuse allegations. “Absolutely horrific. No one deserves this,” wrote another.

Last week, the singer and actress was granted a temporary restraining order against her ex-boyfriend and son’s father after repeatedly being physically and verbally abused by him. The incidents involved DDG calling her a “b*tch” in front of their son and then slamming her face into a car steering wheel. It was so bad that Bailey was allegedly left with bruises and a chipped tooth.
