Any given Skyrim player by now is generally known for their shenanigans. This includes game-breaking ventures. Sometimes these are on purpose; other times, the chaos through normal Skyrim gameplay is on complete accident. While Skyrim is known for going nuts all on its own, some players just have a way with the glitches. And lately, a lot of the most game-breaking things players have been discovering lately have to do with alchemy. Alchemy is already silly enough on its own. (because the prospect of eating a bee to see if it heals you or not is already ridiculous.) Lately, people have taken it up a notch with one of the best ways to get a glitch in the game: overworld item placement.
It’s actually kind of impressive how often people find new ways to break Skyrim. Considering the fact that it’s over 10 years old, you’d think we would have discovered all the bugs by now. No matter how often Skyrim gets rehashed, remastered, repurposed, and resold, players still buy it, play it, and eventually break it to pieces. In this case, a recent Reddit post tells the tale of how a Skyrim player almost breaks the game just by decorating the place with potion.
Skyrim Players Just Love Breaking The Game
The user LongjumpinSlip 4427 first started by trying to gather every potion they could. This means every size, shape, and color. With every model soon obtained for the potions, they went to the demo test room and filled the room until framerates began to drop. Now, mind you, this is on the Xbox version of the game, so it’s slightly buggier. But that doesn’t exactly do the game in yet.
Took some advice and got some more. Hopefully this is enough to get by, because my Xbox can’t handle any more😭😭

No, like many Skyrim players, this one took it even further. Instead of stopping there, this Skyrim player filled the room almost to the ankles with potions until, finally, the Xbox began to overheat. Eventually, our potion seller friend got Skyrim to crash and essentially softlock that save of the file. And so the potion room was sealed off by hardware and software inadequacy, never to be entered again.
Are you impressed with the Skyrim player who almost breaks the game with potion? Do you also find yourself pushing Skyrim gameplay to the limits? What version is the most fun to mess around with? Let us know!
