Similar to other locations in Sniper Elite 5, the War Factory campaign mission has three workbenches. Finding them all is the only way to improve your SMG, rifle, and pistol. So, we’ll help you locate the workbenches and learn the necessary steps to reach them.

Sniper Elite 5 War Factory Workbenches

As we explained, you can find SMG, rifle, and pistol workbenches during the War Factory mission in Sniper Elite 5. War Factory is the fourth mission in the game’s campaign, and you get started with things rather quickly once you enter the area. However, it pays to track down the workbenches since they will get your attachments and upgrades.

So, where are all these workbenches in Sniper Elite 5? Well, the rifle and pistol workbenches are close to one another, while the SMG is south of them. Be aware: you may find yourself near main objectives as you search for them. The map above should get you to their location. Even so, we’ll help you get into the rooms where they’re at.

Head to the southern Kill List target on the map. While on the road, look for a garage with a 2-floor building nearby. There’s an officer in the scrapyard patrolling the construction materials. Kill him and get his key. Remember to avoid the half-track that patrols around there too.

With the key in hand, head to the building we mentioned and take the ladder to the second floor. You’ll find one of the workbenches in Sniper Elite 5 as the SMG one sits waiting inside.

Go north on the map toward the Refinery mission objective building. Rather than going inside there, look to the opposite building. It’s a smaller mill that contains a few guards. Deal with them, and you’ll notice the bolted room. To unlock it, use the tools or take the lockout.

Once through there, turn right to see a hole with a ladder. Go down that, and you’ll see the rifle workbench.

Last up is the pistol workbench. This is inside the Refinery. A quick way to locate the room with the workbench is to enter via the ground floor right from leaving the smaller mill with the rifle workbench. From there, there’s a door that sits on the opposite end of the long walkway. Beyond that is the workbench. However, it’s locked, so you need a key from an officer.

If you wish, tag that area and follow the main mission objective. There’s a control panel you have to find, but near the control panel is an elite jager unit. Kill him so you can get his key and go open the door to the workbench. Alternatively, you can always blow your way through like with a Satchel Charge.
